The Nourished Woman Blueprint

For high-achieving women whose life looks like it’s working, but their body tells a different story.

My 6 month 1:1 high touch, immersive container where we rebuild your energy, health, and relationship with your body at the foundation, the level it actually needs.

This might feel familiar…

From the outside, your life works. You’re achieving, performing, showing up, getting stuff done. Your days are full, productive, there’s always something to move onto next.

But internally, it feels different. There’s a constant tension running underneath everything. A sense of needing to keep going— even when your body maybe asking for something else.

You wake up tired, but wired, your mind is ready with thoughts of the day and what needs to get done. Coffee isn’t just something you enjoy, it’s what gets you moving, a life line even. You move quickly into the day, there’s little space to ease into things or savour a moment. Emails. Meetings. Training. Always something to stay on top of.

There’s rarely any space. And when there is, it can feel uncomfortable, like you should be doing something with it. Like you can’t truly switch off or relax.

You can focus, there’s no doubt, you can deliver, perform, be presentable.

But it often comes from a kind of underlying pressure: 'keep going’, ‘ don’t fall behind, you should be able to handle this’. Even when things are going well, there’s often a sense of being slightly “on.” Like your system never fully settles.

By the afternoon, things may have started to dip. Your energy drops, focus becomes harder to access, you reach for something to bridge the gap, another coffee, something sweet, something quick.

Exercise still happens. Early classes, Barry’s Bootcamp, spin, gym sessions. Runs. You show up, it’s healthy, right? But the motivation is not always coming from available energy. Sometimes it’s: to clear your head, to feel back in control, to stay on top of your body and work off the food you ate.

Food sits in a similar space. You try to eat well, stay “on track.” Maybe you do this, salad for lunch, but by the evening, something shifts. You’re hungrier than expected, and you are less regulated, so sometimes eating becomes more automatic, less intentional, and harder to stop. Almost like on autopilot.

And then comes the internal negotiation: I didn’t need that, I’ll be better tomorrow, I’ll start again on Monday.

There’s a sense of this internal push–pull to everything, your food, your movement, your work.

The pendulum swinging subtly between: structure and slipping, feeling in control and then letting go, being “on it and on top of everything” and switching off, numbing out almost (hello netflix).

You keep going. But it can start to feel like an internal treadmill—Always managing, always recalibrating, always trying to stay on top of things.

Without ever fully landing in a place that feels steady. Or Easeful.

Rest doesn’t really feel like rest. It’s something you either schedule (rarely), or something that happens when your body forces it to.

And over time, your body starts to reflect that lack of true recovery.

Your energy becomes less reliable, sleep doesn’t fully restore you, or your thoughts race at night before falling asleep.
Your menstrual cycle becomes more symptomatic, more painful, more PMS symptoms, maybe more irregular.
Your digestion is inconsistent, bloating etc leave you wondering if you should cut out more food groups.
And there’s a low level of anxiety always humming in the background.

You might have already tried to get on top of it.

Perhaps eating ‘better’. Training smarter. Adding supplements.
Trying to be more consistent, more in control, more things to do to feel ‘well’.

But nothing seems to fully hold. There’s very little sense of ease. Very little that feels like enough…

The women I work with

The women who find their way here are often high-achieving, capable, and used to doing a lot with their lives.

Many grew up in environments where discipline, performance, and pushing through were normal—through school, sport, and early careers.

They’re often the ones who:

  • did well academically

  • played sport or trained consistently

  • built careers in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments

  • learnt how to keep going, even when their body was asking for something else

  • have it altogether, have travelled, are the ‘strong one’, others rely on them, often overcommit to plans and stay ‘busy’

There’s often a history underneath it too.

Years of subtle dieting. Trying to eat “well.” Being aware of weight, food, and how their body looks. Periods of restriction—followed by overeating or losing control. Cycles of being “on track” and then starting again on Monday.

Exercise that started as enjoyment or performance— but slowly became something they needed to do to feel okay.

And for a long time, this way of being works. Until the body starts to respond differently.

Now, what shows up is often labelled as separate issues:

  • PMS, or a diagnosis like PCOS

  • fatigue that doesn’t fully resolve

  • anxiety that sits in the background

  • sleep that looks fine, but doesn’t feel restorative

  • digestion that’s unpredictable

  • a body that feels more reactive than it used to, on the way to burnout.

They’ve often sought help. Read books, listened to podcasts. They’ve often been told it’s “just hormones,” and maybe offered the pill.

Given supplements for gut health or energy, cut out various food groups and been told to ‘manage stress better.’

Some have taken time off. Gone on retreats. Tried to ‘slow down.’

And yet, when real life resumes 👉 the same patterns return.

Because none of these are separate problems

What sits underneath all of this isn’t a collection of unrelated symptoms. It’s a pattern.

A way the body has adapted over time to stress, pressure, and demand.

A nervous system that has learnt to:

  • stay switched on

  • override signals and emotions

  • push through

  • and keep everything moving

So the symptoms you’re experiencing aren’t random. They’re expressions of the same underlying state, keeping the body in a state of stress rather than recovery and optimum wellbeing.

Diagram illustrating what drives symptoms in high-achieving women, including five stages: state, pattern, physiology, response, and experience, with contrasting approaches of dysregulated pattern versus regulated pattern for managing stress.

Why this work is different

Most approaches try to fix each symptom individually. Food. Hormones. Digestion. Sleep. Mood.

But unless the underlying pattern changes—the system that’s driving all of it—the symptoms continue to move, shift, and return.

Inside this work, we go deeper.

We work at the level of:

  • your stress physiology and nervous system

  • your relationship with your body, food, and movement

  • the behavioural and emotional patterns that have been shaping how you live

Using a combination of:

  • somatic work

  • nervous system regulation

  • parts work

  • and female-specific nutrition and health support

Not to “fix” you. But to help your body finally feel supported enough to respond differently.

Because your body isn’t a set of problems to solve.

It’s a system that’s been adapting for a long time
and is now ready to be supported in a different way.

My Process

My work is nervous system led, and always personalized. We go at the pace of your system inside a relational high touch, female specific container.

Regulate The System

We start with the foundation- the nervous system. Together we support your body to come out of constant activation so it can actually properly recover, restore, and build capacity to make sustainable changes and ultimately perform without relying on stress or adrenaline.

Rebuild From The Body

We restore your connection to your body’s signals—hunger, energy, emotions, and your cycle—so you can respond instead of override, and your energy becomes stable without constant management.

Reshape Patterns

We work with the underlying behavioural, emotional, and nervous system patterns—so perfectionism, pressure, and underlying external masculine conditioning no longer drive how you live , nourish and work.

Reset Your Baseline

Here, how you feel, move, and live no longer comes from override—but from a regulated, resourced system that can actually sustain it. Symptoms continue dissapating, and everything in your daily life begins to reflect what you actually desire and what your body can actually hold—not just what you’ve been told or used to pushing through.

What this changes

The Expansion…

Most women come into this work because something in their body no longer feels steady.

Whether it’s the fatigue, the cycle issues, the battles with food, or the sense that something just isn’t working in the way it did before. And all those things do change. Their energy becomes more consistent, their sleep deepens, food becomes quieter—less of a constant negotiation, they find a natural, sustainable weight. Their cycle becomes more easeful and predictive, digestion smooth, and they begin a more connected and compassionate relationship with themselves and their body, one where they lead from listening to their own needs.

One client described it as:
“I’m not thinking about food all day anymore. I just eat—and get on with my life.”

But what tends to surprise them… is that it doesn’t stop there. Because the way you’ve been relating to yourself and your body is often the same way you’ve been relating to everything.

The pushing, the overriding of your needs, the inner constant dialogue, the quiet pressure to hold it all together, not seem weak or get support. These patterns impact every aspect in life.

So when your system begins to settle, something else comes online. A very different kind of power. Not the external kind, built on pressure, societal expectations, conditioning or proving, but something much more stable than that. An internal steadiness.

Through that, as an example, the way you work begins to feel different. You’re still capable, still getting things done well, but you’re no longer running on urgency or adrenaline to access it.

One client, leading a fast-paced team, said:
“I trust myself so much more. I’m not constantly questioning or pushing—I just know what needs to be done.”

There’s more clarity, more precision, more presence, and less noise behind your decisions. You stop forcing things to work, stop muscling your way through and start responding in a way that actually supports you.

Your relationship with your body shifts in a way that changes everything. Yes, food becomes neutral, something to enjoy and nourish your body with rather than count or worry about. Movement becomes something you choose, something supportive for your female body—not something you use to stay in control.

Another client shared:
“I didn’t realise how much of my day was built around managing my body. Now it just feels like it’s on my side.”

There’s more space, not just in your schedule, but in how you experience your life. Rest starts to feel like rest, not something you earn, or something you collapse into, but something that genuinely restores you.

And that changes how you show up everywhere else.

In your relationships, there’s less over-giving, less managing, even less feeling like it’s all on you. You say what you mean more, you hold boundaries without overthinking them, not from force or a cognitive place, but from a place of being grounded in yourself.

For some women, the shifts are subtle but powerful. They say no to things finally, without explaining, they stop filling every gap in their calendar, they have the capacity to let things be enough.

For others, it becomes bigger. They change how they work, start businesses, move cities or places, they let go of what no longer fits their life, their desires and how they want to live. They build a life that reflects their capacity and their truth, not just their capability.

And often, something returns that’s been missing for a long time. Real enjoyment, pleasure in the slow, understated moments, creativity, hobbies.
A sense of being in your life—not just managing it.

You’re no longer living in that constant cycle of pushing, holding, and recovering. There’s more steadiness, more self-trust and more ease in how you move through your life.

Because when your body is no longer something you have to manage, it becomes something you can lead from.

What Women Are Saying

From the moment I met Helena I felt so at ease and knew I wanted someone like her in my corner. I was hesitant at first to invest in working with a practitioner, but working together has quite literally changed my life, in ways i had no idea would happen. Outside of pms, anxiety and just feeling like my hormones were all of the place, I was becoming overwhelmed and anxious in my life, especially when it came to my health. Helena educated me on many things, nutrient dense foods (without cutting out major food groups hurrah!) more mindful eating, how to create more space and balance in my life, and live more supportive of my female body. She gave me the tools to really embody my emotions as well which was huge as I always had been someone who didn't know how to process my feelings and I would emotionally eat or self sabotage because of it. The body based somatic work ended up being my favourite part and I feel so much more connected to who I am, my body, i't’s needs, what I want and what I actually feel and desire- things i had little idea where even affecting my health. I now have painfree cycles, much more stable moods and my anxiety is basically non-existent. My relationship to myself and body has compeltely changed and also just how I live my daily life in general. Hely gave me the foundations to truly nourish and care for myself, and my body has thanked me so much for that! I think her blend of both the psychology/somatic work and female led health & nutrition is a game changer. Highly recommend!

— Margot S, Surrey UK, 31

I came to Hely, riddled with fatigue, overwhelm, poor eating habits (emotional eating), hormone problems and more. Hely's attentive, empathetic and empowering approach really helped me understand the root of my issues, and take a step my step approach to get my health back! I feel more in control, energised, my hormones are balancing and I'm just so glad I invested in working with Hely. Her female-led, nervous-system focused approach gave me something I had never really had or felt in my body: time and space. Over time, I’ve built a new relationship with my body, its needs, my health and in reality, my life. Patterns and habits I’ve struggled with for over fifteen years have slowly dissolved as my nervous system has rewired out of survival mode and I’ve started properly supporting my female body. I was so done with all the quick fixes or diet culture approaches out there that when I met Hely, I was deeply tired. I’d tried functional doctor protocols, diets, etc., and they had just never stuck. I feel like it was a saving grace that i found Hely and her work, it really is the real deal and something I didn’t even know I needed! Since working together, I’ve not only got a healthy body that i like, i’ve quit a job I hated, and had the courage to pursue my passion and start a creative business. This work really does extend beyond just symptoms and into every aspect of my life. So grateful, I hope as many women as possible get to experience what Hely offers, it should be everyones foundation.

— Sam L, Canada, 29

When I met Helena, My main concerns were really that I felt pretty exhausted, and stuck with my body. I had been told I had PCOS, tried different approaches with food, supplements, and big calorie deficits, but I could never sustain them and my days just felt more like a battle, like something I had to get through, rather than something I was being inside of or enjoying.

What changed in this work wasn’t just my symptoms; it was the foundation underneath them. I realised how my PCOS was driven by not only my lifestyle but the stress cycle I’ve been living in for a long time !! And also how so much of diet culture messaging actually puts our female bodies under more stress which impacts our hormones. I’d been yo yo dieting for years, over exercising, and just been in this cycle which I wanted to get out of but didn’t really know was possible.

Working with my nervous system, I realised how long I’ve been operating in these fight or flight modes, and how little I allowed myself to process emotions and the impact this was also having on my health, hormones and my relationship to food.

Now my energy is much steadier, my cycle comes around the same time with little pain!!! My digestion is much more chill, I can eat everything and I enjoy food, and love to make meals for myself using nourishing ingredients rather than counting calories. But I think the biggest shift is that I trust my body now. It’s no longer something I feel I want to change or has problems, I love it, I have a much more positive relationship to self, and my body and I honestly could not be more grateful.

When I started working with Helena, I guess on the outside, everything in my life looked good—my business was growing, I was felt I was consistent, and supposedly doing all the right things. But inside, everything felt harder than it needed to be. I realise now I was constantly pushing myself harder, crashing, and starting again, not only with my work but also with my habits, food, with energy, with everything. Even when I went to rest, I sort of felt like a failure.

Through this work (which I did the Nourished Woman Blueprint six months first and stayed on for another 12 months more in the female performance mentorship) everything shifted at a level I didn’t even realise was driving it. My energy improved, the food noise disappeared, and my body leaned out naturally without dieting or pushing (which was wild to me). But more than that, I’m no longer running on adrenaline. I work less, think more clearly, and trust myself in a way I never have before. My business has grown beyond what I thought possible ( we doubled my income!!!!) but this time, it feels sustainable.

— Lauren, 35, London UK

Helena helped me restore balance to my hormones, nervous system and just in general, my health! I was suffering with lots of symptoms when we started, that had gone on for a good while, digestive issues, stubborn weight gain, pms, poor energy, low self esteem. Her integrative approach helped me in more ways than I ever imagined. After being to doctors, and the functional practitioners, I was a bit burnt out, but when a friend told me about Helena and we first spoke, I felt seen and heard in a way that I hadn’t felt before, so I jumped in. Helena has such a grounded, compassionate and holistic approach and my mind, body and spirit is so much happier as a result. I came looking for help with things i was battling with my health and i got so much more, her work at the root of these symptoms changed things way beyond my health, my relationship to self, others, work and life. I could not be more grateful. I am still working with her for another year now, because I can’t really fathom my life without this work and support. My symptoms have resolved but I love having her by my side as I continue to expand into this new way of being! I’ve told all the women in my life about everything I learnt and will continue to send people her way!!!

— Lisa, 42 London UK

I’m a competitive athlete so I’ve ve always been someone who could just push through. Training, work, everything. I guess I was always someone who could handle a lot, and I didn’t really think too much into this. But over the last couple of years, it felt like my body just wasn’t keeping up in the same way. I’d do a hard session and instead of feeling good, I’d be wiped the next day. My energy was all over the place, and I was constantly trying to manage it—more coffee, changing how I was eating, thinking that I probably just needed to tweak something or be more disciplined with my routine again.

I also never really paid attention to my cycle beyond the basics. I’d train the same way every week, expect the same from myself every day, and then feel frustrated when some weeks everything felt harder, heavier, slower. I thought something was wrong, or that I just wasn’t being consistent enough.

What I didn’t realise before working with Helena, was how much I was still treating my body like something to push, rather than something to work with. And how much operating from this stress mode impacts my body.

Now it’s completely different. I still train, but I actually take into account where I’m at in my cycle and what my body can hold that day. Some weeks I have more capacity, some weeks I don’t—and instead of fighting that, I work with it. And weirdly, I feel stronger for it.

I’m not in that cycle of going hard and then needing days to recover. My energy is just… steady. I don’t think about food in the same way, I don’t feel like I have to earn it or compensate for it, and I’m not constantly adjusting things trying to get it right.

The biggest shift is I trust myself. I’m not second-guessing every decision or pushing through things that don’t feel right. I didn’t expect this work to change how I approach everything, but it has!!
